Comrise is a company that provides opportunities to its employees. As a computer science major back in college, I was ambitious right after graduation and wanted to be a programmer and worked on the latest technologies. Comrise matched me with a client that has challenge projects for my needs. After almost 2 years, Comrise heard my career goals and helped me to find a system engineer/project manager position with a different client which provided me more experience on the business side. Then after 4 years with Comrise, Comrise saw the potential within me, gave me a chance again and took me as an in-house employee in the sales team. Once joined the sales team, I was able to work on contractor staffing, permanent staffing, project based assignments and even offshore projects. It gives me broad view from an IT consultant who only knows the technical terms to a person who understands how a business is running.
For some consulting companies, the consultants are only its money generated machines. But coming from a Comrise consultant background to an in-house employee, Comrise always listens to my feedback and cares about me as a person. 10 years are a long time with a company. At the same time, I am developing my own career and working on many different aspects of business without changing company. Comrise is a company that is growing and it wants its employees to grow with the company. When I prove myself and get a business case for my ideas, the management team does let me take off these initiates.
