Information collection
Comrise Technology, Inc. collects personal data from individuals in the course of our work in order to be able to provide services as a consulting firm and employment agency. Typically this data comprises of resume/curriculum vitae, (e.g., name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, employment history, degrees and other qualifications, languages and other skills). It may also include interview notes, comments from referrals and a record of our contacts with individuals. In addition, our data may include biographical details found in the public domain as well as information gained from private sources.
We make every effort to ensure that any information held is accurate and kept as up-to-date as possible. We do not obtain information under false pretences.
As a matter of policy, we do not solicit sensitive information (e.g., data on racial/ethnic origin, health, sexual orientation, political opinions, religious/philosophical beliefs, trade union membership). If an individual provides this information, he or she will be required to give explicit consent for us to hold such information.
Use and disclosure of information
All information collected/provided to us is entered into our proprietary database. Comrise Technology employees have access to this data, which is used only for the purposes of recruitment and related services.
Any individual who sends us an unsolicited resume or enters his or her personal data into our Candidate Management System on our Website should be aware that this information might be added to our database. If an individual does not wish this to happen, we regret that we will be unable to assist him or her in their efforts to find a new opportunity.
Data transfer among Comrise Technology offices
In order to provide a truly international service, our proprietary database is accessible to all Comrise Technology offices worldwide. A complete list of our offices can be found in our company brochure or by visiting our website at
http://www.comrise.com. Some of these countries may not have data privacy laws that meet the high standards of protection that apply in a given individual's country. Notwithstanding this, Comrise Technology is committed to respecting the same consistently high standards of data privacy throughout its operations worldwide. Any individual who might object to his or her data being made accessible to our colleagues in other offices should inform us of this concern. If this should be the case, we regret that we will be unable to hold that individual's data and/or consider that individual as a potential candidate on any of our searches.
Data transfer to third parties
An individual's personal data will only be disclosed to specific and named client companies with an individual's prior agreement. An individual's data will not be disclosed to any other third party unless Comrise Technology is required to do so by law.
Information security
Comrise Technology takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect against the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of personal information under our control (e.g., multiple levels of user authentication, industry standard security).
All Comrise Technology employees undergo training on data privacy and security and are required to comply with our strict internal standards in these areas.
All documents provided to clients contain a statement reminding them of the confidential nature of the information they receive as well as their obligation to comply with applicable national data privacy legislation.
Your rights
In accordance with applicable national data privacy legislation, an individual may have the right to contact Comrise Technology in his or her country of residence to establish whether or not we hold personal data on him or her and the names of any people or organizations that may have received a copy of this data.
Any individual with a record in our database has the right to request a copy of any of his or her personal information accessible by means of a search on his or her name in our systems.
An individual may direct any such requests or any questions relating to data privacy to the Recruiter he/she is working with at Comrise Technology. We may need to ask the individual to provide appropriate confirmation of identity before processing a request. All requests will be acknowledged and dealt with as quickly as possible and within the time stipulated by the applicable data privacy legislation for the individual's country of residence.
