Telecommunications

Comrise has been working extensively with the Telecommunications industry since 1984. We completed numerous projects in this area for national and international companies.

We successfully completed several multi-million dollars projects, including a project for one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world. In these projects, we:

• Defined, designed, developed, and tested new interfaces between a new inventory system and 2 existing systems. The new system/application was designed to provide an integrated view of the customer’s inventory across all voice and data services, including Outbound Long Distance(LD), Inbound 800, Private Line, Frame Relay, ATM, IP, and Local Services.


• Provided operations, administration, maintenance, troubleshooting and resolution support services for a highly available, fully redundant platform.


• Developed feature enhancements for a maintenance platform. The features consist of Back End CI Automation, ATM Switch Diversity Option feature enhancements, Support for ATM International Services, IP Enabled Frame Relay Service, Electronic Interface, Integrated Network Connect Service, Integrated Diagnose and Integrated Verification, and Web Ticket Application Enhancements.


• Provided support services for a legacy platform. The scope of work included production system operations, administration, maintenance, and infrastructure support, production data management and reporting, maintenance development and 24x7 technical support for critical system problems.


• Developed and installed a Candidate Information Processing System for managing our clients’ end-to-end campus recruiting activities. The scope of the development work included the creation of a backend database, a web accessible graphical user interface, search and sort capabilities, as well as reporting functions to track the work in progress.

For one of the world's foremost providers of software and services for IP, wireline, wireless, and cable networks, we provided several services where we:

• Developed a tool that helps customers design and develop customized interfaces (Network Adapters) on NGOSSs to Network Element Management Systems. Scope of work included systems engineering requirements for designing Layers 1, 2, and 3 Network Adapters including equipment modeling, and designer/development guidelines for Layers 1, 2, and 3 Network Adapters including design of illustrative code for Network Adapters.


• Provided 5 Network Adapter design Documents for the following Network Elements: Advanced Fiber Communications (AFC) AccessMax via Access Manager, Alcatel 5620 NMS, Lucent GX 550/CBX 500/B-STDX 9000 via the NavisXtend Provisioning Server, Lucent AnyMedia FAST Shelf via the AnyMedia Element Manager and Cisco BPX 8600 & MGX 8850/8250 via Cisco Wan Manager. Developed a Network Adapter for the Lucent GX 550/CBX 500/B-STDX 9000 via the NavisXtend Provisioning Server.

For a world-leading telecom solutions provider based in China, we analyzed and evaluated original functional and physical architecture of their Element and Network Management System. We also designed new architecture that would meet future market demands.

For a global manufacturer and largest communications solutions provider, we developed a software package to perform automatic system testing for a proprietary Signal/Speech Processing platform.
